About DMTR

Vision

DMTR is a consulting startup founded by two under-30 women with a clear goal in mind: to help companies reduce their ecological footprint by improving their packaging composition and disposal. With 20.1 million tons of plastic put on the market yearly in Europe, it’s fundamental to guide companies in making radical changes to guarantee a more sustainable future for everyone while allowing them to maintain a profitable margin.

Mission

We offer the development, production, and marketing of innovative services with high technological value that, through applied research, aim to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. Along with technical solutions, we carry out activities that help companies advance in their journey towards ecological transformation and communicate the positive changes achieved.

Services

Feasibility studies

A preliminary assessment of the technical, economical and ecological feasibility of a project is imperative at design stage. Through feasibility studies, DMTR Consulting will identify and quantify the economical and environmental impacts of a given technical solution before its development and implementation.

Life cycle analyses

It is a methodology suggested by the European Commission and supported by the scientific community for measuring environmental performance. LCA is a standardized tool, following the ISO standards 14040:2006 and 14044:2006. Employing this methodology will enable us to estimate the environmental impacts of a product throughout its lifetime.

Lab-scale testing for sustainable materials and processes

Research and development efforts require continuous innovation in terms of materials and processes used, while ensuring that these are at the forefront from a technological and environmental impact perspective. This ensures that our clients are provided with solutions with the upmost quality and best practices.

Support in prototyping and scale-up of proposed solutions

Solutions developed on a lab-scale require to be scaled-up to have a positive impact on the sector. We offer to analyze the technical, environmental and environmental implications of scaling-up the proposed technical solution.

Support for the coordination of research proposals and projects, whose financing comes from European and/or national funds

This will help companies absorb some of the costs attributed to the sustainability improvements, making them more cost-effective. Sustainability changes can be expensive, which makes firms not want to pursue them. Our expertise will help them find tax relief and government financing in order to make the project more easily achievable.

Competition analysis for repositioning

The client will be guided through what the current market looks like, what competitors are doing in terms of sustainability and what will give them a competitive advantage.

Communication strategy

Companies will be guided on how to communicate their technical improvements to the general public and to stakeholders in order to capitalize on the positive attention generated by taking an active path in improving their environmental impact.
